ABOUT US
Our Mission
The mission of Project Light Rowan is to create a strong awareness, prevention, and reporting system to combat human trafficking in Rowan County and the surrounding area and provide information and referrals to the community, the vulnerable, and survivors of human trafficking.
Our History
Project Light Rowan was founded in 2021 by Dr. Jim Duncan to fight the ever growing threat of Human Trafficking in Rowan County and in North Carolina. In just a few short years, Project Light Rowan has been able to educate hundreds of people on human trafficking awareness and prevention, and has been able to come alongside of many organizations and government agencies to stomp out the plague of human trafficking.
